 Black and White to Color

    The images above were created from the image I explained in my previous blog post, which is attached below. I changed the coloring of the images using photoshop. To start I removed all color from the images, and made them in black and white. I had a pallet of 5 colors for each image, and each image had a different format for the combination of colors. The first image was monochromatic (5 variations of one color), the second was complementary (2 similar, 2 opposite, and 1 in between), the third image was triad (5 different and unique colors). I wanted each image to be different, but I tried to keep some consistencies. As seen, the image has a hazy apocalyptic sky, which is something I enjoy. The first image, was meant to have an autumnal looks so I was all brown. The second image was inspired by blossom trees, which contrast wit green, which fits in with nature. The third image mostly inverted the colors of the original. Working with these colors, helped me understand how they effect an image and convey a visual or emotional effect.
